i-Bounty

High Back Ergonomic Fully Mesh Office Chair

The i-Bounty is a high-back ergonomic mesh office chair with nine adjustments: headrest height and angle, a backrest locking in five positions, 3D armrests, adaptive lumbar support and a sliding seat. Seat and back are both elastic mesh, which is what matters most in a Malaysian office. Three-year warranty, Class 4 Samhongsa gas lift. Supplied and delivered nationwide by Igreen Office Furniture Sdn. Bhd.

Key Features

Nine adjustments, and what each one is for

Height Adjustable Headrest. The headrest lifts and drops so it meets the base of your skull rather than the top of your shoulders. Set it where your head rests without your chin dropping, and it stays there.

Angle Adjustment. The headrest also tilts forward and back. Two people of the same height often want very different angles here — which is exactly why a headrest fixed at one angle ends up ignored.

Adjustable Backrest — 5 locking positions. The backrest itself raises and lowers through five locking positions, separately from the recline. That is what puts the lumbar curve at your waist instead of somewhere near it.

3D Armrest — Depth Adjustment. The pad slides forward and back, so your forearm is supported where you actually rest it rather than two inches behind. It is the adjustment people notice within a day of not having it.

3D Armrest — Height Adjustment. Set the pads so your shoulders drop and your forearms sit level with the desk. Shoulder and neck tension at a screen usually traces back to armrests set too high or too low.

3D Armrest — Angle Adjustment. The pads swivel in and out as well — about 25 degrees of rotation. Useful the moment you turn to a second screen, write by hand, or sit slightly off-square to the desk.

Adaptive Lumbar Support. A sprung lumbar element in a split-waist back. It follows you forward when you lean in to type and comes back with you when you sit up, so there is nothing to re-adjust every time you change posture.

Seat Depth Adjustment. The seat pan slides. Aim for two or three fingers between the seat edge and the back of your knee — too deep and your feet lift, too shallow and your thighs get no support.

Recline Tension. A knob under the seat sets how much push it takes to lean back — wound light for a smaller person, firmer for a heavier one, so nobody is fighting a spring calibrated for somebody else. The recline itself locks in four positions.

Good to know

Two versions, same chair underneath. The C-616H Lite is the standard build: black frame, five-star black nylon base. The C-616H+ Chrome adds a polished aluminium base and back frame for a more formal room. The nine adjustments, the mesh, the mechanism and the gas lift are identical — tell us which you want when you enquire. The photographs on this page are the Lite.

Why the seat is mesh. In an air-conditioned Malaysian office a foam seat still traps body heat against you, and once it is warm it stays warm for the rest of the afternoon. Elastic mesh moves air through the one surface most chairs seal off, so you sit at room temperature rather than at your own. It also dries in minutes instead of hours, and it does not settle into a permanent dip the way foam does after a year under the same person.

Set it once, properly. Nine adjustments only help if somebody actually uses them. Seat height first, then seat depth, then backrest height so the lumbar curve meets your waist, then headrest, then armrests. Two minutes. We are happy to walk your team through it on delivery.

Care & Maintanances

Mesh. Vacuum with a soft brush head every few weeks. For a spill, blot — do not rub — with a damp cloth and let it dry in the air. Mesh dries far faster than foam, which is one of its quiet advantages.

Frame and armrest pads. Wipe with a cloth dampened in water, or water with a drop of mild detergent. Avoid solvent cleaners and alcohol wipes: they dull the plastic and can craze the armrest pads over time.

Castors. Twice a year, tip the chair over and pull the hair and carpet fibre out of the wheels. This one habit does more for how a chair rolls than anything else you can do to it.

Moving parts. Nothing needs routine lubrication. If a control feels stiff or the seat starts to sink, stop using the chair and contact us — a sinking gas lift is a service item, not a DIY repair.

Where the i-Bounty earns its place

Open-plan staff floors

When you buy forty chairs, the ones that come back to you are the ones that did not fit somebody. Five backrest positions and 3D armrests are the cheapest insurance against that — one specification covers the whole floor instead of two or three.

Hot desks and shift work

A chair used by three different people in twenty-four hours has to reset quickly and stay dry. Mesh on both surfaces does not hold the last person's warmth, and every adjustment here is a lever or a knob rather than a tool.

Long-shift desks

Contact centres, finance teams, developers — anyone at a screen for eight or nine hours. These are the desks where seat depth and armrest height quietly decide whether someone finishes the week with a sore neck.

Home and hybrid setups

Staff working two days a week at home usually get whatever chair was in the spare room. A high-back mesh chair with a real headrest is a small line item next to that, and it looks like it belongs in a house.

Rooms the air-conditioning does not quite win

West-facing offices, rooms over a car park, the last desk on the ducting run. Mesh through the seat is worth more in those rooms than any amount of foam quality.

Director's offices

Where the room is more formal, the C-616H+ Chrome version puts a polished aluminium base and back frame under exactly the same mechanism, so the specification stays consistent across the building.

i-Bounty, i-Hyper+ or i-Lunar?

All three are Igreen high-back task chairs. They are not competing with each other so much as covering different sitters.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between the C-616H Lite and the C-616H+ Chrome?

The base and the back frame. The Lite has a five-star black nylon base and a black frame; the Chrome has a polished aluminium base and back frame. Every adjustment, the mesh, the mechanism and the gas lift are the same on both. The Lite is the standard build and the one photographed on this page.

Why a mesh seat instead of a cushion?

Air. A foam seat traps body heat against you and holds it for the rest of the afternoon; elastic mesh moves air through the one surface most chairs seal off. It also dries in minutes after a spill and does not settle into a permanent dip the way foam does under the same person year after year.

How many positions does the backrest have?

Five locking positions for backrest height, and the recline locks separately in four positions through a wire-controlled tilt. Backrest height and recline are two different controls — the first sets where the lumbar curve sits, the second sets how far you lean.

What gas lift does it use?

A Class 4 gas lift from Samhongsa in Korea — the same class fitted to our i-Hyper+. Class 4 is the highest of the common gas-lift ratings for office seating.

What is the warranty?

Three years from the date of delivery. For a claim, email [email protected] with your invoice details, a description of the problem and a photo or short video.

Will it fit a shorter or a taller person?

That is what the nine adjustments are for. Seat height first, then slide the seat pan for leg length, then set the backrest height so the lumbar curve sits at your waist, then the headrest, then the armrests. Two minutes, once.

What colours are available?

Grey mesh is the standard finish, on a black frame and base. Black mesh and other colours are produced in this range — ask us before you order, as availability and minimum quantities vary.

How does it compare with the i-Lunar?

The i-Lunar is the closest chair we make: the same 3D armrests, the same sliding seat pan and the same four-position recline. The difference is the surfaces. The i-Lunar has a moulded foam seat in water- and oil-repellent fabric and a single mesh back; the i-Bounty is mesh on both surfaces and splits the back into three sections with five locking height positions. Choose the i-Lunar for a padded seat and its stated 150 kg rating, the i-Bounty for air and a wider fit range.

Enquiry, delivery and warranty

Warranty is three years from delivery. Price and lead time are confirmed with your quotation and depend on the version, quantity and current stock. We deliver throughout Malaysia; Klang Valley and Penang are usually the quickest. Message us with the quantity, the colour and whether you want the Lite or the Chrome version.
